Conversation participants from Richland, Lexington and Sumter counties are invited to attend this virtual conversation on Poverty.
Poverty is a root cause of many other systemic issues facing Midlands residents – economic inequity, racism, food deserts, reduced access to reliable transportation and quality education, among others. Addressing poverty can provide a pathway to creating more livable, equitable and just communities in the Midlands.
On the Table, powered by Central Carolina Community Foundation, brings people together for meaningful conversations to build personal connections, share ideas, and inspire action. When we come together to lend our voices and listen to others, we have the power to make our communities stronger.
