Black women, teens, men, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community are disproportionately affected by the HIV epidemic. They are also most at risk for facing general health disparities, including limited healthcare access and higher rates of mortality.
To address these imbalances, there must be implementation of culturally-compassionate prevention services, educational outreach, and supportive wraparound interventions aimed at reducing HIV acquisition and transmission, and improving overall health outcomes. The best solutions for these problems are Community Based solutions. Please join us as we seek to identify pathways, projects, collaborations, and programs that will reverse the trends and finally end this epidemic.
